City Chic introduces Hayley Hughes

Hi, my name is Hayley Hughes, otherwise known as Fashion Hayley. I'm a blogger, stylist and street style photographer who just so happens to be plus size. I'm really excited to join City chic as their resident blogger and stylist as I really am passionate about looking great at any size. Fashion is for everyone and I hope that with this blog you too will feel confident in what you wear.

As far as introductions go I figured I better tell you a little bit about myself. I live in Melbourne, with my husband and our pet dog. I have a personal fashion blog, www.fashionhayley.com where I document everything that I'm doing in terms of my fashion career as a stylist, street style photographer and sometime fashion writer. I used to live in Tokyo and I try to get back there as much as I can, the fashion is just so different to here, it's a constant source of inspiration.

The highlights of my fashion styling career would be assisting in the WHO magazine "Sexiest people of 2009" shoot with supermodels Miranda Kerr, Megan Gale and 7PM Project host Ruby Rose, which was a very surreal day to say the least. As a photographer I have attended fashion weeks both here in Australia and in Japan and have been featured in magazines all over the world, most recently the February issue of Cleo.

My blog has given me exposure, which in turn lead to being interviewed on Channel 7's Today Tonight about working in the fashion industry and the discrimination I face as a plus size woman. Which is why I am so excited about this opportunity with City Chic. I want to prove that plus size is fashionable and that you can dress well regardless of your size.
