City Chic Frequently Asked Questions

 

HOW DO I ORDER ONLINE?

To purchase a product on the City Chic website, simply click on the item you wish to buy, select the size and colour required and click 'add to bag'. You can then go back and add additional items to your bag or click 'Buy Now'. Please note you will need your credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Amex), including the billing address to finalise your online shopping experience.

WHY DOES THE ITEM IN MY CART NOW SAY IT IS UNAVAILABLE?

Unfortunately when you add items to your cart, this does not mean they are reserved. The items will be available for anyone to purchase until they have been checked out and purchased. If you recieve an error stating you can not check out due to an item being unavailable, you will need to remove this item from your cart in order to continue the checkout process. Please contact info@citychiconline for support if needed.

CAN I CHANGE/CANCEL MY ORDER?

Yes you can change your order whilst you are still browsing and shopping, simply remove it and/or update from My Bag.

Once your order has been confirmed however, it's not possible for you to change or cancel it prior to dispatch.

In this instance the order will be sent to you and then if required you will have to return it.

WHAT DO I DO IF THE ITEM I AM LOOKING FOR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ONLINE?

City Chic’s most popular items do tend to sell out quickly online.  If you’ve seen something you must have, then we would suggest you order it without delay.

However, if the item you are after is out of stock, please visit or contact your local store to see if the item is still available in one of our stores, or you can contact us on 1800 151 110.

WHAT CARDS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept payment VISA, MasterCard, AMEX.

Your card will be debited at the time of despatch. Please note the transaction will appear on your statement as CITY CHIC.

WHAT CURRENCY DO YOU USE?

All prices have a default display in Australian Dollars, including GST.  However by selecting the USA, NZ, CAN and UK flag you can change the currency to an approximation of cost in USD, NZD, CAD and GBP respectively.
For goods to be shipped internationally, prices do not include relevant overseas custom duties and/or other taxes that you may incur.  However an approximation of shipping costs are given at the time of check-out by selecting your country flag in the shipping destination field.

All purchases are charged in Australian dollars and any other currency prices are presented as an approximation only and are taken from the popular currency conversion website xe.com.

Please check with your local customs office for further information regarding any importation requirements or considerations.

 

HOW SECURE IS MY CREDIT CARD AND PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Your security while shopping online with City Chic is extremely important to us, and we have taken all reasonable measures to ensure that your credit card and personal details are kept safe at all times.

All pages that require you to enter your personal information or payment details on our site are secure, using 128 bit SSL encryption.

To ensure that the page you are viewing is secure, look for a padlock icon in your browser, this verifies the authenticity and validity of our website security.

 

HOW DO I ADD CITY CHIC TO MY FAVOURITES?

While you’re checking out all of City Chic’s latest products on the site it is easy to store your favourite items in My Favourites. Simply click on the item you want and select the My Favourites button, you can then keep browsing. You can go back and view your Favourites at any time, just click on the arrowed tab to the right of your screen. When you have finished browsing the site, you can add items to your bag and checkout. The site won’t remember your choices if you close your browser, so grab your favourites while you can!

 

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE I AM?

City Chic has our sizing guide across every product page.  Our sizes are represented in Australian sizes, however there is a conversion guide for international sizing (UK and USA) as well as a guide to measuring your self against the measurements that City Chic works to.

 

WHAT IS CITY CHIC'S POLICY ON EXCHANGE AND REFUNDS?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item or items to us in their original condition within 14 days of receiving it. City Chic will issue you with a full refund upon proof of purchase (original receipt), or exchange the item for a different size/colour if preferred.

Please note:

If you require a different product (rather than a different size or colour of the same product) you will need to place a new order online and return the original item for a refund.

WHICH COUNTRIES DOES CITY CHIC SHIP TO?

CITY CHIC IS SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY TO THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES

For our international customers, all prices on our site are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD), and will be charged in Australian Dollars.

Prices do not include relevant overseas custom duties and/or other taxes that you may incur. If you would like to view your total ‘My Bag’ amount in a different currency, simply select your country flag at the top right corner of the page, which you will find throughout the site.


HOW MUCH WILL POSTAGE AND PACKAGING COST?.

City Chic charge a flat rate of $10.00 for any purchase to be shipped within Australia.

For international shipping charges, please refer to our Shipping Destination tool in the Check Out screen for an approximation of cost to available countries (USA, UK, CAN, NZ).

WHICH COURIER COMPANY DO YOU USE?

For delivery within Australia we use Toll Track & Trace.

For international orders we use Fed Ex.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

For domestic and international delivery, you should receive your order within 7 working days. 

If you have special instructions relating to the delivery, please be sure to indicate these when required on the delivery details page as you are checking out.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO VIEW THE CITY CHIC WEBSITE?

City Chic Online has been developed to look chic with a resolution of 1024 x768 and be chic with both Windows and Macintosh operating systems. We support a range of browsers including Safari, Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6, 7 & 8 using Adobe flash player 9.45 and above.
