Returns Policy

FREE Returns for US Customers!

We believe that in order to have the best possible online shopping experience our customers should not have to pay for domestic return shipping.

Unfortunately at this time we cannot provide free returns for international customers. Please see International Customers section below for additional information on International returns.

Please review our entire returns policy to ensure your return will be accepted for a full refund. In the event that your return does not meet our standards you will be responsible for any cost associated with getting the items back to you, should you want them returned.

Please include your packing slip/returns form with your return. We will not be able to properly credit your account if we do not have this information.

Conditions of Return

  • Return shipping from a domestic US location is absolutely FREE for US customers. Your order will include a pre-paid USPS domestic label to return the purchase to us. **Please note: to use our prepaid labels, shipments must be sent from the United States.
  • All Outlet items purchased on CityChicOnline.com are final sale items and are sold 'as is'. These items may not be returned, there are no exceptions. Final sale items are marked as such on the product page and on your packing slip.
  • City Chic is not able to process items for exchange. A new order must be placed instead. Please contact us if you need a price adjustment to reflect the original purchase price.
  • You can return your purchase for up to 30 days from the shipping date on your original packing slip.
  • Merchandise must be in new, original and resalable condition. Items must be unworn, unwashed and with all labels and swing tags attached. Items with odors, deodorant, make up stains or any other markings will not be accepted for return and will be returned to you at your expense. Merchandise that does not meet the above stated conditions for return will not be refunded. City Chic will notify you via email of the rejected return and you will be required to supply us with a prepaid shipping label to send your item back to you. City Chic reserves the right to refuse a return.
  • Once your return is received and inspected by our fulfilment center, your refund will be processed and a credit will be issued via the same method of original payment. You will receive a credit memo email the same day your refund has been processed; this indicates that notification of your refund has been communicated to your bank or PayPal. Please allow 2-10 business days to see your refund, depending on your bank’s policies.
  • It may take up to 14 days to process your return once it has been received in our return facility. We appreciate your patience as processing returns is a high priority to us and we process them as quickly as possible. At times of heavy return volume we may need additional time to process your return.
  • The United States Postal Service can take up to 30 days to return your package to us. In most cases, it happens within two weeks, City Chic is not responsible for lost or missing packages. Your local Post Office may be able to provide you with a tracking number for your return as our labels do not automatically track.
  • We cannot guarantee your return will be processed quickly if you do not use our pre-printed return label included with your order. Our label ensures that your package will arrive in the correct area of our returns facility. Different shipping labels may delay delivery to our returns department.
  • Refusing delivery of your package may lengthen the amount of time it will take for it to return to us. We advise that your use the prepaid return label if you are located in the US. In Canada it may take up to 6 months for a refused delivery to be returned to us. We will not provide a refund for your order until it is received in our facility.
  • City Chic reserves the right to make changes to this Returns Policy at any time. 

Faulty Items

If your item is defective please contact City Chic Customer Service right away. We stand behind our products 100% and should you discover a defect in your item we will need to know as soon as possible so we can take action to resolve the situation.

Please send an email with photos (if possible) to customerservice@citychiconline.com and explain the issue with your product.

US Customers - How to Return

Your packing slip included with in order is also the return form and prepaid return label. It is important to include this with your return so that we may credit your account properly.

If for any reason you do not have the original packing slip with the prepaid returns label please send an email to customerservice@citychiconline.com and we will be happy to email you a copy to print out.

Shipping Your Package

You can use your original City Chic package you received, or any plain, unmarked bag or box to ship your return.

  • If there are any existing shipping labels, stickers, or other materials on the shipping bag from previous shipments, please remove them. You may also turn the bag inside out to reuse it.
  • Complete the returns form (found on your original packing slip) and fold the paper in half. **Please Note: The pre-printed returns label is intentionally located on the back of the invoice/returns form. This enables our returns team to have quick and easy access to your information. They will cut the entire label off of the package.
  • Tape your pre-printed returns label (on the reverse side of the returns form) to the outside of your package.
  • Drop it off at any US Post Office or give it to mail carrier at your home. You may also schedule a pickup by your carrier at USPS.com
  • We'll take care of the rest for you! Return shipping is absolutely FREE for US customers!

Once the Fulfilment Center has received and approved your return, your account will be refunded and you will receive a credit memo via email that your return is completed and your refund has been processed.

International Customers - How to Return

Your packing slip included with your order is also the returns form. It is important to include this with your return so that we may credit your account properly.

Unfortunately the pre-printed shipping label can only be shipped from inside the US. You will need to purchase postage and ship your return from your local shipping company.

If for any reason you do not have the original packing slip please send an email to customerservice@citychiconline.com and we will be happy to email you a copy to print out.

Shipping Your Package

  • You can use your original City Chic packaging or any plain, unmarked shipping bag or box to ship your return.
  • If there are any existing shipping labels, stickers, or other materials on the shipping bag from previous shipments, please remove them, or turn the bag inside out.
  • Please include your completed returns slip (found on your original packing slip) inside your package.
  • Please purchase postage and ship the package (with the return form/packing slip placed inside) from your local shipping company.

Returning Online Purchases In-Store

Online returns currently require processing via a system that differs from the one used in our stores. Store employees are not able to process immediate refunds for your items.

Please visit our Store Locater to see our store locations. Returns from our website are not permitted at any Nordstrom location.

  • Return of City Chic clothing from any of our wholesale partners is not permitted in our stores; only orders from citychiconline.com are allowed.
  • Bring the items you wish to return to a City Chic store with your original packing slip included with your order.
  • The items must meet the stated requirements above for our standard returns policy to qualify for return.
  • The store will accept the items from you and will notify the online customer service that you have completed a return.
  • The team in store does not have access to your order information to confirm the amount of your refund.
  • Once notified, online customer service will manually process a refund for the items you have returned to the store.
  • You will receive credit memo within one business day indicating a refund has been processed via the original method of payment.
  • At this time your bank has been notified and will deposit the refund within 2-10 days, depending on their policy. PayPal refunds may take one business day to process.
  • There is a short wait involved to receive your refund for an in-store return, however it could be several weeks for you to see a refund should you send the items back using our prepaid shipping label.
  • An exchange in store may be permitted for the exact same item in a different size, per the store manager’s discretion.
